  • Howl-O-Ween at the Nature Station

Nature Station is looking for volunteers for our annual Howl-O-Ween program on Saturday October 25.  Here is a link to the description on our website, to give you a little more info about the program: Basically, families are guided (by volunteers like you!) along a short trail through the woods behind the Nature Station. Along the way, they meet costumed animal characters (our staff) who perform short skits/songs and give out treats. It's kind of like trick-or-treating with the animals. The kids usually have a great time, and lots of them come in costume, which is a lot of fun and cute to see.    Volunteers help as trail guides, as well as helping with games and crafts for the kids.  We are also still looking for another face painter, if any of you would be willing to share your artistic talents with us.  Please contact Aviva Yasgur at or 270-924-2294 if you would like to volunteer or find out more information. Also, if you would like to bring a friend/relative that you think would enjoy volunteering, we're always welcoming of new faces! Thank you very much!
